PRESENT MODELS
Standard - 500
Spares are more or less common to that of the STD 350, except
the engine block, head valves and silencer. Most common complaint
- piston rings wear off faster (at around 10000- 12000 kms)
than the STD 350, but that is really not an issue once you know
what the bike can deliver. Does a decent 115- 120kph, gulps
a little more that the 350 but its worth when you just need
that extra pull when over taking at high speeds. Ideal for long
distance cruising, the clutch performs better on inclines or
mountain climbs. Electrical are slight better compared to the
350, Front brake is slightly larger that the 350. This is the
best bike for touring in India.
If you need the PEP this is the bike for you.
