                | EAST
The seven North-Eastern states also known as seven
sisters are the most remote and unexplored regions of India.
North-East has more than 25% of forest area in India
and it covers only 7% of India's geographical area.

The region is not well connected and lacks infrastructure
and for it's slow economic growth, the region is in dispute
and turmoil with separatist movements in all the states further
                    hampering tourism.

The region shares borders with China, Bangladesh, Bhutan and
Burma making it diverse in culture and the remoteness makes
the region unique and worth a visit.

Inner line permits are required to visit Arunachal
Pradesh, Manipur, Mizoram, and Nagaland while Assam, Meghalaya
and Tripura are the three states where there are no entry
                    formalities.
